Herpes is a type of infection caused by a virus called HSV (herpes simplex virus). Remedy I:


Ice Packs. If you want to relieve pain fast, you must use ice packs. They can be bought at any medical store or make one at home. Take some ice and crush it a little. Place these small ice pieces in a cloth and rub the infected area with this icepack. This will help to ease the discomfort and pain very fast. Use an icepack regularly for easing the infection.

Remedy II:

Apple Cider Vinegar is a very useful home remedy against herpes as it has many disinfectant and properties. It can be applied very easily. You just need to use a small piece of cotton and dip it in the apple cider vinegar. Now, gently clean the infected area with this cotton. At the beginning you may feel a pinching sensation on the infected area, but try to bear the tingling sensation a little. The vinegar can also be consumed by making a mixture with water.

Remedy III:

Hydrogen peroxide is a must have home remedy for any person infected by the herpes virus. It is a great disinfectant and antiseptic, thus very useful. You can directly apply the hydrogen peroxide to the infected area by a cotton ball or you can crush a tablet of lysine. It may feel very harsh sometimes and thus can be used as a mixture with water. Garlic is another great home remedy for herpes because it properties of being anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antiviral. Liquorice root is an Indian herbaceous perennial legume which has great anti-inflammatory properties. IT is very helpful in treating herpes infection and along with it, it strengthens the immune system of the person. This is because of glycyrrhizin, found in liquorice root. You can buy a liquorice root powder from the market and use it by mixing it with water. Regularly apply the mixture on the infected areas, for at least three or four times a day, utill completely healed.

Tea tree oil has properties such as pain-relieving, antibacterial and antiherpetic. These properties make it very useful against the infection of herpes. Also, it has antiviral properties with help to kill the herpes virus and heal the infected area. The tree oil is easily available at the market. You just need to apply a little amount of the oil on the infection. Regularly apply the oil after cleaning the skin with cotton balls.

Remedy VIII:

Coconut oil comprises of profuse amounts of acids such as capric acid and lauric acid, which are very useful in inhibiting the herpes virus in the body. Some studies have supported its effectiveness. It is recommended that you intake 3 tbsp of pure coconut oil daily. This amount must be consumed at least twice or thrice a day. This should result in the decrease of the symptoms of herpes

Remedy IX:

Aloe Vera Gel-Home Remedies

Aloe vera is considered a universal solution for every skin ailment and thus also very helpful against herpes infection. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is very useful to heal sores. Aloe vera can be used as fresh pulp or as aloe vera juice. Now apply it on the infected area and let it dry on its own. Clean the area with warm water after drying. A regular application of it will help decrease pain and blisters.
