Peppermint tea can make acid reflux worse, if the case is not of acid reflux then you are good to go.

II. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider is considered as one of the best home remedies, either it is a stomach ache, pimples or sore throat, apple cider vinegar has always shown best results. Apple cider vinegar can also be used to improve digestion and it can increase the production of acid in your stomach. All you have to do is add 1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to a cup of water and drink it in order to relieve pain and uncomfortableness.

III. Ginger

Ginger is a great natural herb which is used to cure many diseases, its medicinal properties can help in relieving stomach pain and can encourage digestion. In case of using it as a replacement to antacid, ginger is a good option because it can help in reducing stomach acid. Acid should be in a reasonable amount in your stomach, too much acid or very little acid can cause indigestion.  You can consume ginger by simply chewing it or you can drink a cup of ginger tea. Drinking a cup of ginger tea or water can help in relieving pain and can soothe your stomach. Drink ginger tea twice in order to improve acid reflux.

The lemon water contains alkaline effects which can help in neutralizing stomach acid and can improve digestion and relieve pain. Lemon is known to be a great remedy when it comes to indigestion but consuming too much of it can wear down tooth enamel and result in increased urination. Add a tablespoon of lemon juice in warm water and drink a few minutes before eating.

VI. Fennel seed

Fennel seeds can help with gastrointestinal problems such as stomach ache and bloating.  You can put a ½ teaspoon of crushed fennel seed in water and let it boil, drink the water or you can make fennel seed tea. Drink this tea or water twice a day it will help with indigestion and bloating.

VII. Liquorice root

Liquorice root can help in relaxing muscles and it can reduce inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract. Liquorice root can also help in improving digestion and can reduce bloating and gas. Besides reducing inflammation and bloating, liquorice root can cause sodium and potassium imbalance and can cause high blood pressure. It is advised to consume less than 2.5 grams of liquorice root per day. You can chew the root or boil it inside the water and then drink the mixture.
